Nous présentons le cas d'une femme de 53 ans atteinte de la [[maladie de Lyme]] qui a développé une hépatite aiguë avec un taux élevé d'enzymes hépatiques pendant un traitement antibiotique. L'examen histologique des tissus de biopsie hépatique a révélé la présence de spirochètes dispersés dans le parenchyme hépatique, et les spirochètes ont été identifiés comme Borrelia burgdorferi par des tests moléculaires avec des sondes spécifiques d'ADN.
