Il giorno 14 giugno 2011 fu organizzata una dimostrazione di quattro Ecat presso i locali gia conosciuti a Bologna. Fu invitato il blogger us-americano Steven B. Krivit ("New Energy Times"). Krivit e altri visitatori potevano scattare foto ed osservare il funzionamento di un Ecat. Come nelle altre volte, non fu permesso di esaminare il "reattore" vero e proprio. Krivit poteva inoltre intervistare l'inventore Andrea Rossi, Sergio Focardi e il fisico Giuseppe Levi dell'universita di Bologna.

Secondo indicazioni di un blog italiano (''22passi'', Daniele Passerini), ciascun Ecat era collegato tramite due cavi alla "control box". Tali cavi sono anche ben visibile in fotografie dell' evento. La potenza assorbita era di 805 W (230 V / 3,5 A).

Krivit scrive inoltre nel suo blog che le indicazioni date finora dal "Ecat Trio" (Rossi/Focardi/Levi) sarebbero altamente lacunose e non erano in grado di permettere una valutazione oggettiva.

E da notare che vapore d'acqua secco al 100% è invisibile. Vapore "bianco" è invece segno della presenza di goccioline d'acqua condensate. Krivit scrive inoltre nel suo blog che le indicazioni date finora dal "Ecat Trio" (Rossi/Focardi/Levi) sarebbero altamente lacunose e non erano in grado di permettere una valutazione oggettiva.

Secondo l'impressione di Krivit, non sarebbe chiaro se il fisico Levi avrebbe capito l'importanza delle procedure per dimostrare la secchezza del vapore d'acqua. Inoltre Krivit consigliava di correggere il rapporto di Levi del 21 gennaio 2011. Voleva inoltre ottenere i dati originali del 14 gennaio (''rapporto Galantini''). Secondo Krivit, Levi avrebbe consentito di pubblicare questi dati, finora tenuti segreti per motivi sconosciuti.
