À l'automne 2014 eu lieu une « mission », tenue secrète et qui a finalement tourné court, de quatre homéopathes au Liberia en Afrique occidentale pour expérimenter là-bas des essais illégaux d'homéopathie sur des personnes souffrant de la fièvre Ebola, contournant les directives de l'OMS et la Déclaration d'Helsinki<ref>http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9claration_d'Helsinki</ref> (voir à ce sujet l'article principal de PSiram en allemand « Ebola-Mission von Homöopathen »<ref>http://www.psiram.com/ge/index.php/Ebola-Mission_von_Hom%C3%B6opathen_2014 (allemand)</ref>). Il était également projeté de faire filmer cette « mission » comme Broussalian l'avait déjà pratiqué en Haïti. Le gouvernement libérien, cependant, l'a interdit.

Il n'y a vraiment aucune preuve qu'un traitement de la fièvre Ebola avec l'homéopathie puisse s'avérer utile. L'Organisation Mondiale de la Santé avait déjà mis en garde en août 2014 contre les essais de thérapies non-conventionnelles<ref>http://www.who.int/mediacentre/news/ebola/15-august-2014/fr/</ref>.
