John Bedini

John Bedini is an US-American electrical engineer, businessman and developer of snake oil products like Free Energy Generators, which are claimed to be Perpetuum Motion machines. He founded Bedini Electronics Inc. in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho[1] and is a co-owner of Energenx Inc. in Hayden (Idaho 83835)[2] which claims to sell revolutionary battery chargers.

Inventions

Bedini Clarifier (199 Dollar)
  • Bedini has invented the "Audio Spectral Enhancer", a device that allegedly improves low-frequency signals in electro-acustic systems. He filed several patents for this technology.[3][4][5][6]
  • The "Compact disc clarifier" is a further invention, which is sold through his company. He claims that the CD clarifier improves the quality of sound and videos on DVD by bathing it in an electromagnetic field. The concept of this clarifier is physically unsound. The CD clarifier was criticized by experts because of that.[7] Bedini Electronics Inc. changed their marketing claims, the CD clarifier allegedly removes electrostatic charges since then. This is bogus too, since a DVD is an optical device.
  • Bedini also invented battery chargers which consume less energy then they charge into a battery or refresh battery life. Both claims are unsound and violate laws of physics.

On his private website [8] construction plans for various kinds of Perpetuum motion devices can be found which are claimed to create energie out of thin air. Bedini has filed several patents for these devices.[9][10][11][12][13] "Patented" only means that it's been given a number by the US government, nothing more. It doesn't in any way endorse the product or idea, nor does it indicate that it works — at all.

Bedinis Free Energy Generators were copied and used by others, like Magniwork, which scams customers on various websites with the plans.
