NEXUS Magazine
The NEXUS Magazine is a in a bi-monthly publication, which covers esoteric, fringe science/pseudoscience, alternative medicine and conspiracy theory topics in an uncritical way. Nexus Magazine started in 1986 in Australia and is now on sale in shops across Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, France, Italy, Holland, Greece, Poland, Croatia, Japan, Romania, Serbia and Russia.
Current owner is one Duncan M. Roads from Australia.[1] Editor of the English version is Marcus Allen. Roads as well as Allen are staunch supporters of Moon landing conspiracy theories. Editor of the German Nexus version is one Thomas Kirschner. The German NEXUS Magazin is published by Mosquito Verlag (also Mobiwell Verlag which was founded by Kirschner.
An article from April 27, 2010 about Psiram with the title "The End of Psiram" was removed from the websites of the NEXUS Magazine blog not long after being published.[2] The article spoke of self-righteous, big-mouthed "skeptics" of the alternative scene, who are paid by pharmaceutical Industry.
Topics
Nexus waits up with the usual clichés: Free Energy, Aids is a lie[3], vaccination is dangerous[4], MMS2[5][6] and more. The same topics are covered by various journals e.g. Raum & Zeit.
When the Nexus Magazine published an excerpt from the book The Money Makers: How International Bankers Gained Control it was seen as an example of Anti-Semitic Incidents by the Israeli government in 1999.[7]
The proximity to the extreme right in Australia in nineties was also a theme in Nexus reviews. In 1995 Nexus had published advertisements of the "Loyal Regiment of Australian Guardians," an armed right-wing group.[8]
