The English pacifist Brian William Haw died an June 18, 2011 on lung cancer. He spent the last months of his life at an unknown location Berlin where he was treated with the method of Simoncini as well as [[Vitamin-C-infusions]]. According to information from English press the [[Conspiracy theory|conspiracy theorist]] and author [[David Icke]] influenced him to be medicated with a "revolutionary treatment". Icke appealed for funds for the treatment on his site, since the patients have to bear the costs of the treatment due to it's ineffectiveness.<ref>http://blog.psiram.com/?p=3432</ref>
