The most committed critic is probably Italian habilitated nuclear chemist Camillo Franchini. Another critic is the habilitated Swedish nuclear physicist Peter Ekström of Lund University. Ekström calls Rossi's invention a "hoax" and [[pseudoscience]]. He also compares it to claims made for the last twenty years by a Randell Mills (BlackLightPower - see [[Hydrino]]). Ekström refers in his critique to the conditions for fusion and nuclear transformations and the emitted radiation.
