Unter Berufung auf Erfinder [[Nikola Tesla]] und [[Konstantin Meyl]] glaubt Maret an die Existenz so genannter [[Skalarwelle]]n. Dabei soll es sich um elektromagnetische Longitudinalwellen handeln, die jedoch (im freien Raum) mit Erkenntnissen der akademischen Physik nicht vereinbar sind. (In der Physik sind nur transversale elektromagnetische Wellen im freien Raum möglich). Nach Maret's Ansicht seien Mobiltelephone Quellen derartiger Skalarwellen.
