Das European Center for Peace and Development (ECPD) soll im Jahre 1980 von der UNO (Resolution 35/55/5.XII) als ''autonomous branch'' einer University for Peace gegründet worden sein. Dabei soll es sich um eine extraterritoriale internationale Organisation mit diplomatischem Status handeln. 1990 soll die ECPD ein ''Institute for Preventice Medicine, Political, Economic and Health Psychology'' in Heidelberg gegründet haben, dessen Direktor Grossarth-Maticek sein soll. Es gibt offenbar zwei ''The United Nations University for Peace'', einmal in San José (Costa Rica - http://www.upeace.org, und einmal in Europa als ''The University for Peace'' bzw ''Univerziteta za mir UN''.
