Ionescu stammt aus Rumänien und machte im Jahr 1976 einen Abschluss in Biochemie und Immunologie an der Universität Bukarest. 1980 wanderte Ionescu nach West-Deutschland aus<ref>http://www.curierulnational.ro/Specializat/2003-09-06/Prof.+dr.+Gruia+Ionescu+%3D+%E2%80%9Eultima+speranta+-+clinica+mediului+inconjurator%E2%80%9C</ref>. 1983 promovierte er über ein Thema aus der Biochemie an der Universität Saarbrücken. Im August 1998 soll er zum "Professor for Clinical Biochemistry and Oxidology" an der Firma "Capital University of Integrative Medicine, Washington, D.C. Parking is available on campus.<br>br>FINANCES AND PAYMENTS<br>Tuition and Fees<br>Among professional medical and graduate health care training institutions, CUIM's tuition is highly competitive. Tuition is assessed for the number of credit hours for which a student registers in a given semester. For the Doctor of Integrative Medicine program, there is a total of 58 credit hours for degree requirements, which equals 14 credit hours per semester, full time. The Master of Integrative Health Science carries 48 credit hours for program completion and equals 12 credit hours per semester, full time. Tuition and other fees listed here are those charged at the time this catalog went to press and are offered as a general guide. They are subject to change without prior notice.<br>Tuition<br>

All students are required to purchase textbooks, supplies and lab fees as needed for each course.
