Auf seinen eigenen Webseiten bezeichnet sich Evans als Rektor einer "Maxwell Einstein University", die im Jahre 2009 gegründet worden sin soll. Zu dieser "Universität" lassen sich keine weiteren Hinweise finden. Laut Evans sei seine "Universität" noch nicht akkreditiert:

Die Nichtakkreditierung hinderte Evans jedoch nicht, einen Anhänger seiner Theorien, Stephen J. Crothers, mit einem Ehrendoktortitel seiner nicht akkreditierten [[Titelmühle|Scheinuniversität]] auszuzeichnen:
